Daniel Carr, MSW, LICSW

President

Daniel attended Boston University where he graduated with a Master's in Social Work.  Prior to graduation, he sat with Not For Sale in a small team that wrote the first Human Trafficking law in Massachusetts.

Daniel has provided individual and family counseling to several hundred individuals and families from many backgrounds and all ages. ​

Daniel understands the dynamics of silenced victims in family courts and DCF/CPS cases.

Daniel has multiple years of experience working with children, teens, and adults, providing Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) for all types of OCD and is highly specialized in Taboo OCD (such as POCD).

Daniel is a longstanding member of the IOCDF.

Daniel ran a nationwide clinical consultation for mental health professionals in need of guidance or consultation when navigating the complexities of sexual and violent OCD exposure therapy with children, teens, and adults. ​ 

Daniel wrote the Safe Taboo Exposure Standard to help guide the field of Taboo OCD treatment into a standardized level of care.
